How to cook lazy sushi
To make lazy sushi yourself, you will need:
• Beautiful Japanese-style serving dishes,
• eggs,
• ready-made rice for sushi
• nori,
• pickled ginger,
• soy sauce,
• wasabi,
• red fish, caviar, smoked fish, seafood, tofu, cheese, cream cheese (Philadelphia, Almeta...), fresh cucumber, avocado, spices, sesame…
Fry the egg
Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan, break the egg and spread it in a thin layer. Fry this kind of "pancake" on both sides. Allow the pancake egg to cool, fold it into several layers and cut into slices.
Rice
If you do not have special rice for sushi, then you can use any round grain. If you are completely lazy, then you can take rice for cooking in bags. Just do not forget to completely remove excess moisture from it and season with rice vinegar, sugar and salt.
At this stage, you can add some raw or toasted sesame seeds to the rice. You can also mix rice with dry minced nori leaves in a mortar or coffee grinder.
Place the rice in the bottom of your bowl. Adjust the amount of rice depending on how much more you are going to add. If your ingredients are bulky, then don't forget to leave plenty of free space.
Rampant sushi fantasy
Now it's time for creativity: put a sliced egg on top of the rice, a layer of cream cheese or sprinkle with ordinary grated cheese (a well-ripened Russian cheese is surprisingly good here), put seaweed, daikon, seafood, any caviar, red or any other fish, fresh herbs…
Lay out everything thoughtfully, in an exquisite Japanese style.
Finish your sushi dish with ginger, wasabi, and slices of fresh cucumber.…
Serve lazy sushi with soy sauce as an appetizer or main course.
It is worth noting that such sushi is surprisingly nutritious and may well replace a non-dietary meal.
To eat such sushi with chopsticks, you need to have significant experience in this matter. A fork here will be the most convenient and versatile way to dry food. Give yourself and your household guests a choice: chopsticks or European appliances? Try gentleman jim bet and enjoy the action.
