  8. My ancestor Jessee Aldridge received two Bounty Grants in Autauga County, Alabama in 1819. A descendant Miles Aldridge still lives on the Mt. Pisgah Bounty at the headwaters of Chestnut Creek. The other is located within sight of Exit 205 on I-65 in present-day Chilton County. It is on a a lower portion of Chestnut Creek known locally as Swift Creek. Both Bounty properties were selected for their water access from a map in far away North Carolina by Jessee Aldridge, the Revolutionary War Soldier.
