¾ cup sugar
2 tbs. flour
¼ tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
sliced bananas
3 tbs. sugar
Combine sugar, salt, and flour. Beat three egg yolks and mix with milk. Add to dry mixture and cook over low or medium heat until thickened. Add vanilla. Layer vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. Add custard and another layer of wafers and bananas and custard. Make meringue of egg whites and three tbs. sugar. Pile on top of pudding. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown.
