You (and your sources) are missing a daughter, Martha Hays McDavid. She was born in 1910 after the census. Robert died in 1915 and his wife died in 1916. Most of the family was with daughter Virginia and her husband (and a co-trustee of Robert’s estate) McLin F. Smith in the 1920 census. But in 1920, Martha was living with her first cousin Margaret and her husband Hugh Morrow. Martha and her brother Charles were living with Virginia in the 1930 census.
