200 Years ago Milledgeville Ga was in Mount Vernon Alabama – Read Benjamin Hawkins.

Unless all the people in Alabama who still claim here and live here alll that time were all in Georgia instead, maybe?

Thank you for posting this! My Hawthorne’s moved from Georgia to Conecuh County, Alabama in 1818. This gives me some insight as to what was going on at the time.
