By the belief’s of todays Politically Correct crowd, slaves were beaten and mistreated. Many of those in the P.C. crowd need to read this article.
This sort of sheds some new ‘light’ on how certain things were back in the days prior to the war. Just have to wonder how many northern congregations would have allowed a black man to preach to them.
