About 20 years ago, I was a police Officer in Montgomery. I was assigned a walking beat in downtown. The area where this was, is now part of Old Alabama Town. I regularly visited the office of Old Alabama Town and heard stories about the old houses and reported hauntings of the old homes. After visiting one day, I headed outside to continue along my beat. As I walked outside an older Oldsmobile drove by headed North from Columbus on McDonough St. There were several people outside and some construction workers were working South of us on McDonough St. As I watched the car slowly drive by, the rear end of the Oldsmobile lifted up into the air approximately 6 feet off of the ground, then stopped suddenly and fell back down to the ground. I immediately suspected supernatural activity and a chill went up my spine. I then noticed that the construction crew was working on the power lines and were stringing a new wire on the overhead power poles. The rear bumper of the Oldsmobile had hooked the drooping power line on the passenger side and the back bumper rode up the wire. The driver of the car got out, unhooked his bumper and continued on his way.
Is this the same Crommelin family whose war heroes have a huge monument in Wetumpka?
I’m not sure. That’s why I didn’t state it, but they are more than likely related.
Yes.
