I've been browsing some genealogy queries on Alabama and noticed a lot of people were looking for Bibb County genealogy books for sale.  I knew the Centreville/Brent Library in Bibb County had some available and I happened to run by there today. They gave me the following list.

Courthouse Research for Family Historians: Your Guide to Genealogical Treasures

I'd like to give a big thanks to Richard Rotenberry, Jr. for his information on the Rotenberry family.  He stated in his email "the Rottenberry name spelling changed at the marriage of Presley.  His wife Elizabeth Ann Collier, made sure that all the children spelled their name "Rotenberry" with one "t".   It is that from there on down to present.  All records in the state archives spell it Rotenberry.  So most of the name spelling is incorrect in that information."  I will be correcting the name spelling on the website as soon as I am able but remember the name should be spelled Rotenberry.
