To clean white sweaters and other woolen goods without washing, Rub Thoroughly into material a mixture of one-third salt and two-thirds corn meal. Lay aside over night, brush and hang in the shade.”

“A handy broom holder can be made by nailing two large spools on the wall about 2 inches apart.”

“To keep moths out of stored clothing, sprinkle with pepper or tobacco, which leaves no unpleasant odor, and can be easily shaken out before wearing.”

“To wipe walls easily and free them from dust, etc., wrap broom in clean flannel cloth.”

“Piano keys may be cleaned by using a piece of muslin dippen into alcohol.”
